The initial stage of our water treatment process involves the utilization of a dedicated raw water pumping station with a capacity of 30 million gallons per day. This station facilitates the lifting of water to the Water Treatment Plant, situated approximately a quarter-mile away, overcoming a vertical elevation of around 250 feet.
By harnessing the force of gravity, the water flows effortlessly through pipelines and channels, allowing it to seamlessly progress through the entire treatment process. This gravity-driven flow ensures a continuous supply of water, enabling our treatment plant to operate efficiently and effectively. It eliminates the need for excessive energy consumption and minimizes any potential disruptions in the water treatment process.
Through the utilization of our raw water pumping station and the strategic placement of our Water Treatment Plant, we guarantee the smooth and continuous operation of our water treatment process. This enables us to provide our community with a reliable supply of safe and potable water, meeting the highest standards of quality and service.
The Searcy Water Utilities' Water Treatment Plant aims to provide clean and safe water to its customers by adhering to strict water quality standards set by the Arkansas Dept of Health, Engineering Division, and the federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
